Many years ago, I volunteered at our local hospital. I had always known from a young age I wanted to study health. It was years later when realized there were many different healing modalities, not just the western medical way I was introduced to as a young girl. In China, I was able to see all of these modalities working well together.
Background and Skills After receiving my diploma for TCM (Chinese) acupuncture and my Doctor of Chinese medicine, I travelled to China to complete an internship in an intergraded Chinese western hospital in Mianyang China. I have also studied useful adjunct therapies such as; sports acupuncture, massage, myofascial trigger point therapy, myofascial massage, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, reflexology, yoga, and my current studies in Japanese Acupuncture.
Outside of work. I enjoy playing anything outside, with my young growing family. I also have a great passion for Japanese Acupuncture, I am grateful to have found incredible teachers, I enjoy listening to their teachings and learning from their wisdom. One could say I have found love in my work!
